St. George Transmission and auto helped us out with diagnostics of our car. We were at wits end. They all were very attentative with our needs and budget.

Most knowledgable transmission shop in St George

Super friendly, professional and supportive to a traveler who blew his engine near St. George. They can handle much more than just transmissions - though they certainly have hundreds of those in inventory!

Good place that specializes in vehicle transmissions. Over a year ago for a few months my car's transmission was starting to act strange by sometimes shifting really hard into 2nd gear and it was driving me crazy to where I didn't want to drive my car anymore. I did a lot of researching and was suspecting a solenoid was failing and would cost an arm and a leg to replace. Took my car to this place for a fluid change (since it was time and no longer bright pink anymore) and to this day (knock on wood) I haven't experienced a single problem and shifts are (most of the time) very smooth. It's amazing what kind of problems a fluid change can solve. If you come here be sure to make an appointment. I'm very hesitant of bringing my car to any shop (especially dealerships or in some cases "stealerships") but I trust this place.

They worked well with our schedule, and after finding the overlying problem they looked for more to make sure everything was all good to go! Great experience!

Driving back from Las Vegas my 2007 GMC Yukon would quit while driving. Limped back into town after having it cut out 4 times This place was recommend by my mechanic over the phone. They spent over an hour diagnosing the problem. They could not reproduce it but suspected that the fuel pump was going out. I was able to drive home without incident. They didn't charge me anything for their time since they were not able to represent the failure. Highly recommended.

So. I have F350 2011. I wondering why it sifted hard on 2nd and 3rd gear. Well. ST. George transmission looked at it. Drove it around a lot. Only got it to do a couple of times. So the hooked up a machine to read it. All looks in normal range pressures. So, cleared up the computer and the problem went away. Little to no cost to me. They worked with my warranty company. Thanks for your good work. Aaron.
