So there are a number of things I choose to work on personally when it comes to vehicles around the house. Oil, brakes, minor mods, sensors, general maintenance but when it comes to suspension I’m out for various reasons. One of which is “ is that spring in the ceiling? Where’s that strut spring?? Yep it’s in the ceiling. WTH?!?!” Lesson don’t experiment with struts. Or at least buy a tool or hire these guys. Sorry it’s a side story. But pictures are availed. LoL! Anyway, I have had St George, Transmissions perform a number of projects over the years including some things when they were still Dave’s. They have worked on my Diesel, my Bronco, and now our Volvo when it’s regarding items I don’t want to tackle or things I’m not comfortable doing . Volvo services tend to be a bit more than any of my Fords (yes Fords and Multiple Fords) usually due to the parts cost and the difficulty of ripping everything apart and those shop rates associated with the extra time. However, it was $900+ less than the local dealer quoted over the phone (sight unseen) that was willing to service it. So bringing it to Stg transmission made all the sense in two worlds. Mine and my wife’s. Service was great. . Everything went as expected. There were no surprises other than the time delay for getting OEM Volvo parts (I expect that, just because these parts are not stocked in STG) Honestly, this is one of only two shops in town I will use for services I can’t say enough good things about St George Transmissions. Which by the way does so much more than transmissions. Remember that. They are Honest, timely, and perform quality work. They also have newer better magazines than other shops around town.
